School Library Month- April 2018
School Library Month is the American Association of School Librarians’ celebration of school librarians and their programs. Every April school librarians are encouraged to host activities to help their school and local community celebrate the essential role that strong school library programs play in transforming learning. The 2018 theme is Making Connections at Your School Library. The AASL School Library Month committee is providing four weeks of library programming ideas, professional development webinars, and a public service announcement about the importance of libraries by author Jason Reynolds. All the materials are available at the AASL School Library Month website. As a member of the SLMC, I wish you a wonderful School Library Month. If I can help you with anything, please let me know.
